Glorious Gloria

I've admired Gloria Vanderbilt's art since my mother first showed me her book on collage when I was 10 years old. Somewhere in my consciousness I also remember seeing a photograph of Gloria's Manhattan brownstone where she had completely collaged the floor ceiling and walls with quilts. Today 48 years later, GV has started to collect my art. My mother must be smiling from heaven! Here is my latest large scale reverse painting on glass, also collaged on the front and frame of this vintage church window. It is my homage to GV.
