Glorious Gloria (Fay Sciarra)

I've admired Gloria Vanderbilt's art since my mother first showed me her book on collage when I was 10 years old. I also remember seeing a photograph of Gloria's Manhattan brownstone where she had completely collaged the floor ceiling and walls with quilts. 5 decades later, GV started to collect my art when she bought a mixed media large door I had collaged with a crazy quilt. Here’s a photo of “According to Joseph”, inspired by J. Campbell’s quote, “ Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls”.
